That’s a really useful class and very reasonable, IMO. If I weren’t halfway across the country from RS, I’d be there!

Thanks! I really enjoy teaching this class. I have been teaching it through the college the last couple years. It usually allows sells out.

I've been banging iron for over 20 years now, off and on. Be sure to focus on proper ergonomics, if a guy's using his wrist to lift that hammer instead of the large muscles in his back and bicep, then he's going to wind up with a hell of a case of tennis elbow. Ask me how I know. I like to hammer with my shoulder in a line over the work as that helps me to remember to not use the top of my wrist to lift the hammer.

I attended this class and would recommend it to anyone who is interested. It's a beginner oriented class and a great introduction to blacksmithing tools and techniques. We all enjoyed it.

Shame your a country away...lol. Everyone should know how to swing a hammer either making iron, cutting stone or splitting wood. Good on you for sharing the knowledge bro!
