Well... Quite some time ago I tried to join the forum, but it was instantly deleted during the elections. Then I was ousted from my contracting job due to facial recog for being an 'observer' at certain political gatherings that were deemed by the MSM as "really very quite bad" with a capital T. I probably could've talked my way out of it if I didn't wear that damn riggers belt.

Anyways, my background is in advanced technical matters in the realm of ARPANET/Internet. Previously I reached out to NCSCOUT because I realized that I have great technical skills that utilize the internet, but if the SHTF then I absolutely have nothing of value to trade in a FUBAR situation where there is no power or cat5 cables. Talking to certain international friends who went through the Bosnian bullshit, I realized they could survive because they were able to trade medic skills, treating pus infected wounds for cans of sardines, whereas if the power goes out, I'm totally useless.

So I'm here to share my technical expertise and crypto finance knowledge in exchange I hope I can learn more about basic medicine, homesteading, and RTO, I already have a nice shitty baofeng that I have no clue how to use yet

I already see opportunities to contribute where others have asked about the merits concerning signal, telegram, how to post anonymously on facebook, google, twitter, and other MSM platforms, etc. To give you a preview... You're fucked if you're using android, macos, ios or god forbid windows lmao... Your only hope is using tails, whonix and QubesOS with chain-linked vpns and android VMs.

If you want to use the likes of FB anonymously, look into multi-login-management and session control with first whonix vms, then residential single connection VPNs, and find vendors on the deep web who accept monero who can provide you with fake virtual IDs and payable selfies with the fake IDs to trick facebook into believing the fake account you have is a real person.

Anyways US CyberCom uses a variant of qubes... so why shouldn't you if you're a freedom loving citizen that doesn't want to go to jail because you simply care about the constitution in the midst of a Marxist takeover?

You could also trade setting up a local neighborhood network with some self-hosted servers in SHTF. Might come in handy.

Hey, I ran into the same probs with qubes for about a year, gave up and then finally decided to try the hardware the qubes team recommend. My recommendation is just pickup cheap used Lenovo X230 both tablet and notebook version laptops on ebay and craigslist. We have over 30 in the field currently, no problems whatsoever. Except HEADS for evil maid attack prevention, we can't seem to get working properly on the tablet version of the laptop, but if you just seek the compartmentalization of qubes without heads, x230 is the way to go. A barebones X230 goes for under $200 nowadays. Live long and prosper my friend

Very cool. I'll got take another look at their hardware list. It's been a while. I did get it installed on an old MacBook but it was buggy.

I'm a fan of ThinkPads because there are tons of parts available, great Linux support, and because as you've indicated, you can easily find them locally with cash. No UPS reroute and interdiction.
