'ello From the TN/GA/AL area
When they are preparing for war, those who rule by force speak most copiously about peace until they have completed the mobilization process.

Howdy from smack dab in the middle of NC (or thereabouts - some argue where the actual center is…)!

Love it, I always think of High Point as being the middle but I have no idea where it actually is. West of Winston is home for me.

It depends upon whom you ask, and what method of measurement they use. I’ve read that Star, a tiny town in Montgomery County has a marker stating such. Perhaps updated from an old survey by satellite measurement?

In any event, the center is somewhere in the Montgomery - Moore - Chatham - Randolph County area.

FWIW, Wikipedia lists the traditional center as being in SW Chatham County, and the modern center being in Randolph County. One way or the other, I’m within 30 miles or so of whichever of these you consider the center.

West of Winston-Salem is a good place to be!
