I occasionally set up my NVIS antenna and get on 40 & 80. Unfortunately, I've been too tied up with work and other training to get out my HF stuff for a while now.

Hey OS, I too reside in Cen Cal and have an 80M NVIS antenna I deploy. In the radio ops section there is a RRG in CA thread going. Welcome.
