From the edge of the Florica Everglades

Post by J.B »

Been following Brushbeater in the various blogs, podcasts, and formats for many years. Were down south where the Sawgrass meets the road, and gators live in the canal 50 meters from the front door. Were an Amateur Radio Operator, Antenna builder, and Graybeard.

This blog will be a winner.

I spent many a day off road throughout the west in the late 70's, jeeping my way thru the back country of Utah, Wyoming and Colorado. Denver was base, as my wife's dad was retired USAF and lived near Lowery AFB. I got married in Denver in 76. Brought back 30 cases of Coors, unavailable in east of the Mississippi at the time. I considered moving there many times but since the takeover of Colorado by communists from Kalifornia and the state going communist I decided to remain here. I was last in Colorado around 2010 poking around Teller County. I know the Redlands, a bit of Gods country down there. I spent many an hour in Homestead, repairing equipment used by the auto dealers, in the early 80's. I'm now retired, up in yrs but still kicking. I Have Been looking for property in the Redoubt region but prices as bad as an acre on Miami Beach.

When did plant yourself on Colorado ?
