Evening all,

West Virginia here, not deep in the hills but enough to get lost in the mountains and enjoy the outdoors. I'm a lifelong student and hoping to learn and expand my skillset and sync up with local like minded folks and expand the community. I'd like to consider myself as an outdoorsman but hard to get out much with a family and full time career that consumes most of my time. Been doing a lot of self study, reading, watching videos, and prac app when possible. Trying to get more familiar with comms and hoping to get into the RTO and scout course in the near future when it's not so damn hot outside.

Welcome! My advice as far as courses go, don’t sweat the weather, just get it. The societal temp is rising too fast to wait. I say this after taking the Fighting Carbine when it was hot enough to make the devil himself say, ‘aw hell naw’
