SW Appalachistan Checking In

Howdy all, been lurking around for a while, finally signed up. Former Army combat medic (91B2P in those days), long term Paramedic & Firefighter, went into the teaching business for a time, mostly high school history & government, now running an education program for an armed three-letter Federal department. No, not that one. Close to retirement but not dead yet!

So I’m guessing you’re in NE Alabama?
(Technically I’m just outside of Appalachistan, being in central NC, so my understanding of the geographical region may be a bit off.
