Been following the blog as well as on the bird app. I never joined because I feel I have more to learn than I can contribute in the conversation.

Nah... I'm a nurse, but the skills I was referring to are foraging/survival foods and austere/herbal medicine.
I find that being a nurse first keeps me in the realm of reality in herbal medicine. In other words... "This plant works because of these chemical constituents which are actually the same as this big pharma drug" rather than
"I hugged this plant and thanked it for it's heart shaped leaves before I used it for heart medicine because the hippy down the road said that's the only way to make it work."
Don't know how much interest there is on this forum but I'm guessing I'll be posting on this stuff for my prerequisite posts. Unfortunately that won't happen til I get a new computer. Mine bricked two weeks ago...

Hey, this is my first time EVER on a forum. I'm finding it a bit difficult to navigate the topics/forums. Is this where I check in? I've attended RTO, Advanced RTO, SigInt, Scout, and Recce. Prior military and currently a welder. Sorry if I'm piggy backing off this check-in, but it seems I have no permissions to make any sort of posts anywhere. Glad to finally join up though.
