New Member Intro - South Eastern Wisconsin

Hey y'all,
I'm based in the Greater Milwaukee area (an oxymoron if there ever was one). Recently learned about NC Scout, Radio Contra, and this forum and looking forward to learning from y'all.
No real tactical experience to speak of (some law enforcement training from about 18 years ago, along with a bit of practical home and business clearing).
I'm a software developer by trade, as well as a father and husband. I'm a leader for a Boy Scouts-like (before they were neutered) program run by our church; the group I lead is 3rd through 5th-grade boys.
I'm pretty new to some of the comms stuff - though I've had plenty of time on radios (as an emergency services dispatcher and auxiliary officer).
That's pretty much it for me - I'm not very interesting, but I'm here to learn and continue to make myself better than I was the day before.
