Ohiocomms,
Welcome to the forum,
I am interested in your personal ham story/history and your station capabilities. (After you reach ten posts your PM option is turned on, please reach out when you obtain this threshold). One of my pet projects is the AP Traffic Net system. I am looking for stations centrally located for relaying of AP traffic.
Looking forward to seeing you on the radio!!!

Copy that, I'll PM you in the future. My NE Ohio location has a 160m dipole up around 100', the NW has a 5BTV for 80M down to 10m and various vhf uhf antennas. Still running barefoot, but looking to put a amp in my future. Occasionally work digital modes on some local 2m and 6m nets and can see much value in digital during a grid down situation.

So Saber 7, couldn't find anything on the AP traffic net, do you have a link to it. I'm assuming it's a HF net, anything like Amrron ?

OhioComms,
Scroll down to the communication section. They you will find reference the the SOI. This is a work in progress getting signal traffic moving out west. For not what net ends just west of the Mississippi River for the most part. I am gathering up forum member stations our this way for the North West region. Well actually the the west. Just tonight I PM NC an idea I’m working to relay traffic via phone SSB.
Good to have you on board. Do you SOTA any? Maybe you can chase me?

Also the name of the net is changing . It’s something NVIS now for one band and something else for the other band.

Haven't tried any SOTA, Ohio is pretty flat but there is a few SOTA locations about an hour away. Always wants to try it and this may give me a reason to test it out. I'll keep an eye on what you're building and listen for you.
