Glad to have you out here in God's country. Hope you get some time to ditch the crowds and enjoy it while you're here.

Welcome Brother. I have family in the Cody/Casper Area. Next time I come through we should all plan a range day. I know a great place.

I do. My vertical does well on 40 and 20. OK on 75/80, seems like I hear a lot more than I can talk back to. But then, a lot of guys are running big amps on 75/80.

Haven't been on much the last year. Probably should dust off the HF set.
You don't need much power to talk local. If your current antenna does not do well on 80m, you might build one that does.

The 12th Region traffic net meets at 0700 MDT on 3.923.5. Some meet fifteen minutes earlier on 3.918.5.

Give me just a little notice and I'll put everyone onto some good public land prairie dogging.

I'll check in. Won't probably be before the weekend. If I can't get in I'll PM you.

Mepps1, welcome to the group!! The North West Region RRG net is still an informal affair till we gather more interested folks. Unlike a formal net that meets say at 0700 on the dot we kinda tune in generally around 0645is, so if your up earlier tune into the 3.918.50 and see if anyone is on. Ive been known to be on 0630 and lurking. Again welcome to the fold and hope so see you on the radio.
