New member from MT
Good morning. My name is Dridge and I am new to this. Reading NC Scouts book on radio operations. Hopefully I can be a valuable asset to the team. Semper Fidelis

I do not. I'm in the Western Mountain area closer to the Idaho Border. It was sighted by Great Falls and South towards Billings.

Can anybody assist me with linking up to radio operators in western montana? I'm trying to get into this realm and learn?

Welcome from the high western colorado rockies. Enjoy the learn/sharing. if you read whats in the radio sections you will quickly get some HF comms going too and talk all over the west and a fair amount of east of the Mississippi. And thats only the beginning !

Good afternoon Dridge. I’m in your neighborhood. Which side of Missoula are you on?
Re: New member from MT
Hello Hootch I'm about 70 miles North of Missoula.
Re: New member from MT
Ok, I’m 30mi south. There are some regular guys on hf up there. Not Brushbeater guys though. I wouldn’t know any UHF/VHF stuff up there.
If you have HF, listen to the Montana traffic net every night at 1730 local. 3910mhz. Listen up for when your town is called and you will hear who is out there. There is a handful of regulars (from your area) that move to a different freq and rag chew. They would help you out in your journey.
