New member today. My user name is a bit optimistic, as I've only been in radio since last fall. I did manage to pick up a GMRS license [no challenge there] and a general class amateur license [a considerable challenge for me.
]So far I have just two HT radios, a Yaesu FT3D and an Anytone 878+ DMR radio. DMR is another world....one of the reasons that I signed up.
I'm an Army vet - '71-'76 and I wish I had hung out with the radio guys more back then.
As they say in the HAM world, 73!
