Re: Checking in from CA
Hi TiminCA!!
Welcome to the frey!!!!
As this forum develops I anticipate the HF nets gaining dedicated station operators. In the interim I’m asking RRG stations out west, (formally AP Traffic Net Stations), to use what’s available now. That is the ARRL 12th Region Traffic net. Its a controlled net that moves written traffic. The 12th region is AZ, CO, NM, UT, and WY. They do allow stations not in the region to participate. Anyway we can link up there then move up or down to conduct our own rag chew. Its 0700 everyday on 3.923.50. I will say RRG stations “move up (3.928.50)” or “move down, (3.918.50)”.
Well there is your invite! Hope to see you on the radio!!

Hey S7 thanks for the invite. Need to figure out the wire antenna, doing research as recommended by NCS, I'll get there. TiminCA

Hey Sl7, I will set up a 80m half wave NVIS this weekend and dial in the wire length according to SWR. Freq & UTC SOI to test Westernmost net station?
