New Guy in Spokane (or thereabouts)

Post by jackalope »

Howdy from NE WA state. I've been listening to Radio Contra from the beginning. Army infantry (11H) vet from the ancient early 80's. Didn't do anything but train for 3 years. That was enough for me. I still have my tattered 1980 edition of Mel Tappan's "Survival Guns." Nowadays I'm just trying to keep up. The content NC Scout provides helps a lot. Thanks for not talking down to us old farts. Welcome! I'm here on your side of our beautiful nation. Thank you for your service. Not all of us are run and gunners, but we can still be the glue that holds the cool stuff together. We support, and we train with both guns and understanding and knowledge and prepping, male or female, we still make all the gears work by doing our part!

Semper Paratus - Always Ready. I also appreciate all that the Coasties do for us. But, Semper Paratus is on the unit crest of the 12th Cavalry. I was in the 1/12 Cav way back in 1980. It was the most fun I had in the Army. My platoon leader was 2LT Anthony Cucolo, who went on to big things. Anyone here serve with him?

Spokane is getting crowded and Californicated at an alarming rate. North Idaho, too. Been looking at places east of Lewiston.
