Greetings from north central Oklahoma! I hope I can contribute something meanful to the discussions here.
About me: 8+years as a usaf powerlineman (3E071) turned engineer via GI Bill so I'm very familiar with infrastructure, software and electrical/electronics of all types. I left the service in 99 so I missed most of what most of you went through in the sandbox. I was there in 92 so I know the middle east but no comparison on the experience. I was issued a pair of hooks and Kleins instead of an M16...our combat role was building tent cities.
What else? Ham extra ticket, avid shooter and reloader, wood butcher with occasional bouts of carpentry, and shade tree mechanic. If you have any questions, by all means ask away.
I hope to meet some like minded folks in the local area or make some new HF contacts. I look forward to talking to everyone.
Greetings from Central Oklahoma

Thanks NC Scout, love those podcasts. Even have my wife listening to them for ideas.
