Pushing 60 and this is the first board I have joined.

Like most - I am concerned about my family and friends and want to make informed decisions and preparations with good, unfiltered information.

I am a father of adult young men, husband of many a decade, an outdoorsman, martial arts practitioner, collector of vintage "novelties", and enjoy teaching young people practical life skills.

I go by Jim.
