Here's hoping we never need to engage in politics by other means, out here in the cornfields. I'm here largely to learn what more I can do to protect myself and my own, though.

Welcome friend, always glad to see some people trickle in from the Midwest. Even if you leave the politics out of it seems like we are entering a dangerous time and its going to be a hot summer. Even in my little burg, things are getting a little spicier than normal.

Welcome! I grew up in a small farm town in the midwest. Haven't been back for a while, but old friends put up news articles saying Antifa came through and smashed windows downtown over the summer. I couldn't believe it. I'm in a more populace area now in Montana, but when Antifa came through there was a rancher or a local militia man with a rifle on every corner. I don't think there was a single broken window here. I'm sad to see that sort of stuff come to those good little farm towns in the MW.
