I acquired my 1900FOM from them this week. After reading "snakes post under optics thread " I have several phone conversation with JOSHUA there at RMR. He was very patient and helpful with this nooby nods guy. It appears this "lower" level nods seems to have a pretty good tube. Now training is in order.

Get out and walk with them before you got to formal shooting training. You can kit up and do patrols around the homestead at night and not have to worry about being spotted like daylight patrols. Great practice for just learning how to walk with limited FOV and DOF! Going on patrol tonight. :)
Slightly off topic, but I want to note that you don't need to carry rifles to practice certain aspects of patrolling. Pretty much every patrolling skill except immediate action drills can be practiced with the appearance of an innocent walk through the woods with friends.
